Black Lotus is a RP Hub more than it is a venue.
Since we are not your standard club with dancing and ERP, we are trying to steer away from that image.
We are trying to offer a rich roleplay experience, partnered with a comforting and welcoming community styled social environment.The Black Lotus is the representation of sophistication, power, and authority.
As a venue, we are trying to embody that within our environment and aesthetic.
Themed around the idea of the flower itself, we feature dark colors such as blue, purple and black, with the occasional accent of pink. As well as a refined and superlative atmosphere for utmost pleasure and comfort.

Here at Black Lotus we don't provide much of the entertainment you're used to when visiting venues.We don't offer gambling/dealer tables and we don't offer ERP.Our focal point is meant to be our immersive RP, which can be found within our hosts and hostesses.
Per your hourly table fee, you will be provided with a randomly selected host/hostess based on your preference in gender that will accompany you during your time here at Black Lotus.We also offer a VIP section, more info on this later to comeParty reservationsBar services+ more!

Inspiration/process

Since we were given access and permission to use the housing space Black Lotus is hosted on, we were intent on using all 3 floors, which isn't something that you often see when it comes to venues and clubs.
Due to this factor, we've also been keen on creating a unique and creative space that would be unlike other RP hubs and venues seen within FFXIV.With this in mind and with some of the ideas we initially had, we started to revise and fine tune, removing features and adding parts per every piece of advice given.
Eventually we came to one solid idea; Hosts and Hostesses.We took some heavy inspiration from the Yakuza series to grasp the concepts provided in the culture of cabarets and put our own twists on them, and thus Black Lotus was "officially" born.

entry

With the inspiration of cabaret clubs within the world outside of Eorzea, we charge what is called a "Table Fee"; this could also be known as the entry fee.Our current Table Fee is set at 2,500 Gil.

Drinks and menu

Unfortunately, our menu items do not come free with your table fee! Though, I'm sure you understand.If you wish to try one of our featured drinks or confections, you can visit the bar upstairs or flag down a server!The bar CAN be bought out, you can view that info on our menu page.

Host/hostess request

After you pay your Table Fee you will be assigned one of our lovely staff members to accompany you as you explore our cabaret at your leisure (which includes our bar and our lovely eating arrangements).
Because this assignment is random, we do allow for booking and requesting our staff members --
Host Requesting; If a particular staff member has come to your liking, you can ask whoever is working front desk the night of your visit if you can be in the company of that particular host or hostess. The only instance in which your request cannot be fulfilled is if that staff member is not working that night OR they are already accompanying another guest.
Host Booking; If you would like to ensure that you are able to be in the company of the staff member of your choosing, we do allow host and hostess booking. Bookings will be cut off the day that we open, any requests past 12:00 am on Thursday will be ignored! If you have booked a staff member, you will be requested to pay an extra 5,000 Gil with your Table Fee as a Booking Fee.
